Have you ever received a request to completely change an existing video’s mood or tone based on client feedback?
“Hey Ian, can you make any adjustments to the room the subject is in? The vibe isn’t working for my client, they feel it’s too somber.”
There are a few ways to address a client concern like this one. First, we can add or remove items to a scene, to help steer the viewer’s eye where we want. Other options include adjusting the background by making it lighter or darker to make the subject stand out, blurring the background to stay focused on the subject, or even replacing the backdrop with a company logo or color gradient.
