Use a 3D box as a baton between people to show synergy and teamwork

This is one of my favorites recently: creating a prop at a moment’s notice!

“Hey Ian, I really want the participants to pass a product box around. But the Zoom shoot is tomorrow and there is no way we can get them a real box in time. Thoughts?”

I say, no problem! How about we have a digital version instead?

Taking a photo of the box from old text messages, I was able to apply it to a digital 3D asset and manipulate it to look like the participants threw and caught each time. At a fraction of the cost it’d take to fabricate, we quickly pivoted and had each participant give us lots of different takes of the action. We were able to show how employees could connect with each other in a relatively simple edit.

Don’t be afraid to ask for the impossible!
