Eyeline is important to show presence and engagement
Sometimes you may be in a time crunch to collect a high level executive reading out an important message. On a Zoom call, often the talent will want to use a script just off camera or read from their screen. With no time to set up a proper teleprompter, you sometimes have talent not looking at the audience of people they are talking to, their eyes just barely looking off screen. If you can’t address this during filming and you already have it completed, not all hope is lost!
“Hey Ian, is there a way to fix our client’s eyeline on camera after it is filmed?”
In the demo I’m reading a script and my eyes noticeably track off camera. When eye tracking AI technology is applied to the same reading, the fix is subtle and can give you and your client peace of mind that they’ll look great on camera in a pinch. With the eyeline fixed, it shows I’m fully present and engaged, giving the audience more confidence that what I’m saying is meaningful and sincere.
SEE for yourself. I’ll see myself out now…
